Course Details
PDMS (Plant Design Management System)
Description
PDMS is a Plant Design software application used in Engineering Design, and construction to assist in the preparation of 3D Layouts and extraction of construction deliverables like GA & Isometric drawings.
Professionals who use PDMS are often referred to as Modeller/ draftsman/ Designers/ Design Engineers. Many top engineering/ Construction firm uses PDMS around the globe.
The individual knows PDMS along with engineering knowledge has a significant career prospect in engineering design sector.
Objective/ Key Learning
During the course, students learn the features, commands and techniques for creating 3D layouts, editing, and extracting drawings in PDMS. Using practical hands-on exercises, students explore how to create 3D Models of Equipments, Pipes, Structures, Cable trays in the best interactive learning environment under the guidance of an industry expert. Students who complete this course will have sufficient knowledge to generate 3D Models of process plants & extraction of 2D drawings.
